Plot Purchase
To purchase a plot in one of our cemeteries, we kindly ask you to contact the cemetery office: 508-945-5117. Qualified voters/property owners are eligible to purchase a maximum of four “single” burial lots. Pricing is as follows: a single plot is available for $800, a double plot for $1600, and a columbarium niche for $1500. Each single plot offers the flexibility of one full burial and one cremation or the option to accommodate up to four cremations. Columbarium niches accommodate two cremations. We're here to assist you with your needs and to answer any questions you may have regarding the process.

Veteran Flags
Do not hesitate to call the cemetery department for additional information and assistance on obtaining veteran flags and flag holders: 508-945-5117. In honor of our Veterans, flags will be placed on the burial lots within the veteran flag holders. Flags will be placed a few weeks prior to and taken out shortly after Memorial Day and Veterans Day. Please note that this flag placement is carried out by an outside volunteer group, not by the cemetery staff. To maintain uniformity and respect during the remembrance process, personal flags should not be used, unless a Year-Round Flag Permit has been filed. Personal flags may be inadvertently removed alongside the commemorative flags post-holiday. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in ensuring a dignified tribute to our Veterans.
Veteran Resources
To apply for a medallion, burial, or memorialization, you need to fill out VA Form 40-1330. This form can be submitted online using the AccessVA's QuickSubmit tool, by mail to the NCA FP Evidence Intake Center in Janesville, WI, or by fax. It's important to include a copy of the Veteran’s DD214 or other discharge documents with your application, but original documents should not be sent. For questions, detailed information on eligibility, the application process, and to download the necessary forms, you can visit the Veterans Affairs website.
Plantings and Maintenance
To ensure the beauty and maintenance of our cemeteries, please be reminded that any planting or landscaping on burial lots requires prior approval from the Cemetery Commission. This includes potted plants, baskets, floral arrangements, and seasonal decorations such as Christmas wreaths, which should be removed by the owner or family members once they are no longer visually appealing or have served their purpose. Importantly, any approved objects, plantings, and trees must not interfere with the general upkeep of the cemetery grounds. The Cemetery Commission reserves the right to trim or remove overgrown plantings and objects that obstruct roadways, paths, or adjacent lots, ensuring unimpeded access and maintenance throughout the area. The Cemetery Commissioners, under the Select Board's guidance, are tasked with mowing and trimming public cemeteries in accordance with General Laws, including MGL Ch.-114, S27. We appreciate your cooperation in adhering to these guidelines to maintain a respectful and serene environment for all.
