Finance Department

Mission Statement

The mission of the Finance Department is to oversee the Town's resource management functions and provides direct supervision for the following departments: Accounting, Assessing, Treasurer/Collector and Information Technology. The department oversees all of the Town’s financial management activities and provides strategic direction for the development of the Town’s budget, revenue collection and tracking, financial reporting, internal and external auditing functions, preparation of financial statements, debt financing proposals, long-range financial planning, capital planning and management of the Town’s investments, and performance measurement.
