Sidewalk installation is scheduled to begin on the east side of Old Queen Anne Road between Main Street and Stepping Stone Road shortly after Columbus Day.

The Department of Public Works anticipates one lane closure throughout construction operations between 7:00 AM and 4:00 PM. The southbound traffic lane heading towards Main Street/Rte. 28 will remain open. There will be a few occasions when a full road closure and detour for the project limit will be required to accommodate the raising and cementing of frames, grates, covers and gate boxes and the placement of the 1 ½-inch top course of Hot Mix Asphalt.

There will be Police Detail Officers on site to assist drivers and pedestrians throughout the project.

Plans and other documents related to the project are available for review on the Town’s website.

Should you have any questions regarding this project, please contact the Highway Division at 508-945-5155.
