MUNICIPAL FISH PIER

PACKING BUILDING SOUTH BAY LEASE AND OPERATIONS 

REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

The Town of Chatham invites proposals for the lease of the Packing Building South Bay at the Municipal Fish Pier for the purpose of seafood holding, brokering, handling, packing, or shipping.

Proposals must be in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations of the United States, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and the Town of Chatham.

All proposals must comply in all respects with the instructions, conditions, specifications, and other requirements in the Request for Proposal (RFP).  Copies of the RFP may be obtained from the Town of Chatham, Office of the Town Manager, 549 Main Street, Chatham, MA 02633, phone number 508-945-5105, email , between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM each business day until the scheduled proposal submission date.

Proposals must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked “Packing Building South Bay Lease” to the Office of the Town Manager, on or before 2:00 PM. on March 24, 2023.

A RECOMMENDED site walkthrough will be held on Wednesday, March 15, 2023, 10:00 AM at the Municipal Fish Pier (54 Barcliff Ave. Extension).  Town Staff will be available at this time to provide access to the facilities. Questions received will be responded to in accordance with provisions of the RFP.

The Town Manager intends to award a contract or reject all proposals on or before March 31, 2023.  The Town reserves the right to reject any and all submissions, to waive minor informalities or irregularities in any submission, and to make an award in any manner consistent with the law and deemed to be in the best interest of the Town.
